I would rank it a 3 out of 5 stars because I enjoyed the personal connection that the author had with the book. This book is about challenges and a book's remarkable journey from a Refugee camp to Harvard. Hopefully one day I can travel the world and maybe visit refugee camps in Africa! Great read. Readers also enjoyed. Asgedom uses characterization to build on how his personality changed throughout the novel from when he was in the Sudanese refugee camp, to when he graduated from Harvard. Angel am surprised that Asgedom remembered this much.
